There is a plethora of ways to show creativity in what one wears, even with uniform guidelines; students express themselves through intricate braids, patterned shoes, or bold lipstick. In fact, one of the most common types of expressive apparel is – you guessed it – socks. As insignificant as they may seem, socks offer a medium for creativity and fun, and they add color to a bleak, average school day.

Skutt Catholic students have certainly been utilizing them. From fox socks to knee-highs, a wide variety of socks has been modeled in the halls of our school.

Tons of fun socks are sold at most general or apparel stores near you. If you want to add some variety to your day, look no further – just look down. Sport your own multi-colored, fuzzy, or patterned socks.

Sockspression. Get with the movement.
