V-I-C-T-O-R-Y THAT’S OUR SKYHAWK BATTLE CRY!!!

Some of our recent success at Skutt Catholic may be attributed to Kirayle Jones. He is one of the most recognizable members of the junior class due to his endless involvement in activities at Skutt Catholic. This year Kirayle is involved in football, golf, Skyhawks for life, TV and film, and show choir crew. The current junior class powder puff coach has previously participated in show choir, wrestling, and track as well as some of the activities he is in this year. His favorite sport to both watch and play is football. This year he is number 50 so look for him out on the field. “He’s the coolest dude around. Kirayle is always there for a friend and always has a big smile on his face. He makes me laugh and picks me up whenever I’m down,” fellow football enthusiast Andrew Hoffman commented.

Mr. Jones also spends his days as a cashier at Baker’s. Kirayle said his favorite thing about his job is being able to interact with highly satisfied customers.

How does one muster up the motivation to give their all in every activity they participate in? When asked what motivates him, Kirayle commented, “I like to see others happy for me. When I see other people enjoying my success it makes me want to keep going.”

Mr. Kirayle Jones’s biggest accomplishment is achieving a birdie on a par 4 hole at Eagle Run. He taught himself sign language to communicate with with his best friend in 5th grade. At the talent show last year, he put this skill to work when he and Abby Hoffman placed second. They were going to sing and sign but her voice was kind of hoarse so they just signed instead.

If he had to eat one meal everyday for the rest of his life he was adamant about eating hamburgers with American cheese. Kirayle’s favorite vacation he has ever been on was going to California last March. His dream vacation would be Australia. Why? He likes all of the native animals, his favorite is the kiwi bird. The future job Kirayle wishes to pursue is teaching American history for a high school. (Better watch out Mr. Plum or Kirayle might take your job.)
