(February) May 2, 2019- Last Friday, the Skutt Catholic track and field team participated in the River Cities Conference meet at Ralston high school.  It was the last regular season meet of the year for the SkyHawks. Coming off a successful first regular season, led by new head coach Steve Carroll, they were looking for continued success.

It was a perfect day for running with the weather in the mid-seventies. The SkyHawks looked for a successful outing from the athletes heading into May 18th’s State track meet at Burke high school.

The 4×400 men’s team won their event with the team including, Cole Mingo, Alex Kennedy, Drew Rase, and Blake Manternach. This team even broke the school record; the record that was held for over ten years.

The Skutt Catholic track team looks very well off heading into the postseason and we hope that they can bring home their first state title in school history with a very talented squad.
