The students of Skutt Catholic are excited to be back and are ready for the year ahead. “My first week at Skutt has been pretty great so far, and my favorite part has been art class,” said freshman Kara Walters. “I found Skutt really easy to adjust to, but coming from a public school getting used to the uniforms has been a little difficult,” Walters continued.

The upperclassmen are just as eager to get back into the routine. “I was so excited to come back to Skutt. I love seeing my friends everyday, but I’ll admit it has been hard to start waking up early in the mornings,” said Senior Hannah Schroeter.

A highlight of the first week back at Skutt Catholic is the infamous popsicle day. “I love popsicle day because we get to get out of class,” said sophomore Abby Pearson. The students were excused from eighth period to go outside to enjoy a popsicle and the nice weather. “I love popsicle day because we get to see our friends and miss class. It’s a win-win,” said Sophomore Keagan Mann.
