April 17, 2018 — Every year the Holland holds a concert all day for choirs to perform in an acoustically designed space. Choirs from all around Omaha show off songs both old and new. Both of Skutt Catholic’s choir ensembles attended this all day event.

These students left their eighth period classes a little early so they could take the 20 minute bus ride to the performing hall. The busses arrived within about 30 minutes of Concert choirs warm-up.

Each group of singers is given 20 minutes to perform their set. In Skutt Catholic’s case each group sang five songs that have been performed both recently and in early concerts.

Concert choir performed first between the two followed by several other groups then came the Chamber choir.

This event offers a unique experience to both performers and audience members alike and brings a whole new outlook on performances.
