September 12, 2017 — Earlier today, Apple held a convention to announce the changes they had made to their various apple products. The big showing at the convention was the new iPhone 8 and iPhone X. These are the long awaited 10th anniversary phones, and Apple has made them to be better in every way they could.

The iPhone 8 will have a different appearance than the past. It will have a very durable glass on both the front and the back. It will come in the usual colors of silver, space gray, and gold. It will have an upgraded camera and can record video in much better resolution. The portrait mode introduced on the last model will now have a feature that allows the user to select different lighting effects for the picture. This edition of the phone will also be able to wirelessly charge. The pricing of this will start at 699$ and the iPhone 8 plus will be 799$. Both will be available in 64gb and 256gb capacity.

One of the big new announcements is of the iPhone X. The ‘X’ celebrates the tenth anniversary of the first iPhone’s release. This is going to be a top of the line product costing near 1000$. This phone will have a casing made of stainless steel and will be water and dust resistant. The most noticeable difference is that there is no home button and instead the screen will cover the whole face. The phone will be opened by tapping on the screen. The new phone will come with face I’d and that is going to be an option to opening the phone. These will be available for preorder on October 27th and be shipped out on November 3rd.
