The University of Nebraska Medical Center’s latest addition specializes in treatment for cancer, which affects millions of United States citizens. The fight against this disease is often an extremely long and strenuous battle, and, with no conclusive treatment, it can be difficult to maintain hope when diagnosed.

In order to inspire hope and healing, the Fred & Pamela Buffett Cancer Center instituted the Healing Arts Program. This program showcases the work of a variety of artists throughout the center, including a sanctuary designed by famous artist Dale Chihuly.
